The alleged architect of the 9/11 atrocity, Osama Bin Laden, has been confirmed dead – killed days ago in a firefight with US-led forces.
President Obama has confirmed it in a moving speech highlighting the attack on America nearly ten years ago on 9/11, shown in the video below.
Spontaneous celebrations have broken out across America and this a wonderful day for the American people.

Interestingly, the beautiful girl in the video is Elarica Gallacher who is best known for previously being in Eastenders and Harry Potter; nice to see that McLean is keeping it real with more British talent!

Now that ’24′ is finished, this would be the only reason for me to switch on my TV!
Whilst much of the nation seems to be captivated by ‘X-Factor’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, I think that the best thing on British TV right now is the much underrated ‘Merlin’.
Merlin & the Druid Girl - his kindness may have significant implications later in his life...
Tonight’s episode simply took my breath away and, as much as I hate to admit it, the acting and the strength of the screenplay brought me to tears this evening.
If you haven’t seen it, you should give it a look – great stories, great acting and super sets mean that this is the only thing on TV that makes me feel that the TV Licence Fee is justified.
